The Able2Doc interface is somewhat confusing at first. However, once you get past the slight learning curve, this program really does its job well. Converting PDF files to an Open Office
or Word file becomes simple once you learn how this program functions.
There are few drawbacks when using Able2Doc. After using the program once or twice, converting PDF files to Word
or other formats is simple enough. After files have been converted, it is possible to save these files in RTF or DOC format.
Sometimes, PDF converters can be overly complex. Able2Doc is refreshingly different than most other programs in its class. While the initial interface could use some work (though thte help balloons are useful), this program does perform well, and documents will be converted easily enough. While converting PDF files, it is important to select the type of conversion that you want to achieve (image or text), but this is the only foreseeable drawback.
Users will enjoy the fact that Able2Doc allows partial or complete PDF selection. If an entire PDF file does not need to be converted, sections of this file can be removed. The ability to select certain parts of a PDF file is something that’s very useful.
As with most other programs, you can test out Able2Doc for seven days for free (limited). The retail price of this program is $49.95, but that’s a fair price
for a program that works so efficiently. If you’re in the market for a PDF converter, Able2Doc is worth that seven day trial.
